With summer just around the corner, we’ve been busy adding some delicious new treats to the menu, preparing for our annual alpaca shearing, and getting ready to welcome lots of young artists through the doors for our summer art camps.
Whether you’re stopping by after a countryside walk, meeting friends for coffee, or spending a creative afternoon in the studio, there’s plenty to look forward to at Greenway Lane this season.
New Menu Additions to Enjoy
We’re excited to introduce a few new favourites to our café menu — perfect for sunny mornings and slow summer afternoons.
Our New Açaí Bowls
Bright, refreshing, and packed with goodness, our new açaí bowls have quickly become a café favourite. Layered with fresh fruit, crunchy toppings, and plenty of colour, they’re the perfect light breakfast or post-walk pick-me-up.
They’re as beautiful as they are delicious — and ideal for enjoying out in the garden while soaking up a bit of summer sunshine.
Matcha Coffees Have Arrived
For the coffee lovers looking to try something new, we’re now serving matcha coffees — the perfect balance between smooth coffee and earthy matcha.
Whether you’re already a matcha devotee or curious to give it a try for the first time, these drinks have been bringing a fresh new energy to the café menu. Iced versions are especially popular on warmer afternoons.
Homemade Cakes Fresh from the Kitchen
No café visit is complete without something sweet, and our homemade bakes continue to be at the heart of Greenway Lane.
One standout lately has been our double chocolate brownies — rich, fudgy, deeply chocolatey, and baked fresh in-house. They pair dangerously well with a coffee and have already developed quite a loyal following.
Alongside the brownies, you’ll still find a rotating selection of homemade cakes and seasonal treats made with the same cosy, homemade touch our regular visitors know and love.
The Alpacas Are Getting Their Summer Haircuts
One of the surest signs that summer is on the way at Greenway Lane is alpaca shearing season.
Over the coming weeks, our alpacas will be getting their annual summer trims, ready for the warmer weather ahead. It’s always a fun time on the farm and a fascinating process to see up close — not to mention the alpacas look wonderfully proud of themselves afterwards.
Visitors can expect plenty of fluffy before-and-after moments around the grounds.
Summer Art Camps Are Nearly Here
July and August are shaping up to be wonderfully creative months as our kids’ summer art camps return for the season.
The studio will be filled with painting, drawing, experimenting, making, and lots of imagination as young artists spend their days creating in a relaxed and inspiring environment.
Our camps are designed to encourage creativity, confidence, and fun — with plenty of hands-on projects and outdoor inspiration woven throughout the summer programme.
We can’t wait to welcome both familiar faces and new young creators to the studio over the coming months.
