These Terms & Conditions apply to all users of the Greenway Lane Art Studio and visitors to our website and café. By booking a class, visiting the studio, purchasing items, or using our website, you agree to these terms.
1. General Information
Greenway Lane Art Studio (“we”, “our”, “the Studio”) provides art classes, workshops, events, studio space, and café services on the premises located near Newport, Co. Mayo. Our website provides information, online booking, and contact options.
We reserve the right to update or change these Terms & Conditions at any time.
2. Booking & Payment
- All classes, workshops, and events must be booked in advance unless otherwise stated.
- Payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place.
- Accepted payment methods include card, electronic payment, and any options listed on our website.
- Prices listed on our website or promotional materials are subject to change, but confirmed bookings will not be affected.
3. Cancellation & Refunds
By participants:
- Cancellations made 2 days before the class or workshop will receive a full refund or credit.
- Cancellations made 3–4 days before the event may receive a 50% refund or studio credit at our discretion.
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the event are non-refundable.
By the Studio:
- In the rare event we must cancel a class (e.g., illness, low enrollment, unforeseen circumstances), we will offer:
- A full refund, or
- A transfer to another date.
4. Attendance & Participation
- Please arrive on time—late arrivals may miss essential instruction.
- Participants must follow all studio health & safety guidelines.
- Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult unless attending a designated children’s programme.
- We reserve the right to refuse entry or ask someone to leave if behaviour is unsafe, disruptive, or violates our policies.
5. Use of Materials & Equipment
- Standard materials for classes are provided unless otherwise stated.
- Participants agree to use studio tools, materials, and equipment safely and responsibly.
- Any damage caused by misuse may require compensation.
6. Artworks & Personal Property
- All artworks created by participants remain the property of the creator.
- We are not responsible for loss, damage, or theft of personal items brought to the studio or café.
- Artwork left behind for more than 20 days may be discarded or repurposed due to limited storage space.
7. Photography & Promotion
- We occasionally photograph studio sessions and events for use on our website and social media.
- If you do not want yourself or your child to be photographed, please inform us on arrival.
- We will always respect privacy requests.
8. Café Terms
- The café at Greenway Lane Art Studio serves food and drinks for visitors, students, and passers-by on the Great Western Greenway.
- Allergen information is available upon request.
- Outside food is not permitted inside the café area unless otherwise arranged.
- We reserve the right to refuse service in accordance with Irish hospitality regulations.
9. Website Use
By using our website, you agree to:
- Use the site for lawful purposes only
- Not copy or reproduce content without permission
- Not misuse the website or attempt to compromise security or functionality
We aim to keep information accurate, but cannot guarantee absolute completeness or error-free content at all times.

- Greenway Lane Art Studio cafe, its owners, and staff are not liable for injuries, accidents, or damages unless caused by our negligence.
- Use of the café and outdoor areas linked to the Greenway Lane art studio and cafe must be done responsibly.
